Aladdin - Ipswich Regent Theatre Christmas Pantomime 2020

Published19th August 2020

Along with Enchanted Entertainment, we have made this decision because of the impact of coronavirus. We don’t yet know when social distancing and other restrictions will be removed. We have had to make the same decision as many other theatres as the panto would not be viable.

We’re very sorry that we simply can't deliver the magic of an Ipswich Regent Theatre panto under the current circumstances.

Enchanted Entertainment are incredibly disappointed they won’t be producing Aladdin this Christmas, in what would have been their 10th year in Ipswich. Panto is important for so many families and they’ll now spend the extra time making 2021 their best show yet

From Monday 7 September we’ll contact customers who have already booked tickets to offer them options:

Customers can transfer tickets to the 2021 Easter Panto, or the 2021 Aladdin Christmas pantomime, or transfer the value of those tickets to another show. They can also get a refund.

We cannot process any requests before 7 September so customers should wait for their email (or phone call) which will have full details.

Aladdin was due to open at the Ipswich Regent Theatre on Wednesday 16 December 2020 and run until Saturday 2 January 2021.

We look forward to seeing you back at the theatre – Oh yes we do!
