Another boost for Take the Lead

Published7th August 2018

A new bed and basket for a favourite pooch is the prize in a draw boosting Ipswich Borough Council’s Take the Lead campaign.

Take the Lead, launched at the weekend, aims to raise awareness of – and prevent – attacks on assistance dogs by other dogs.

The Ipswich Veterinary Centre has provided the prize and is supporting the campaign, which moves to Ipswich Market today ahead of a blindfold walk by Ipswich MP Sandy Martin on Thursday and a guide dog walk in Christchurch Park on Sunday.

Take The Lead is being supported by Guide Dogs UK, Suffolk Police, Jollyes – the Pet Superstore, Ipswich Veterinary Centre, Ipswich Central, Suffolk Guide Dog Forum and Mr Martin.
