Area Committees give you the chance to influence Council decision making, share your opinion and contribute to positive changes in your neighbourhood. As a resident of Ipswich, this is your opportunity to say what you would like to see improved.

You can find out what’s going on in your area by selecting the marker for your area on the map below and clicking the second link in the pop-up dialogue box.

Ipswich is divided into five areas, and each of those areas are split into wards. There are three councillors per ward, representing you, a resident of that area. Councillors work with residents, businesses and community groups at these public meetings to discuss how money can be spent and how the area can be improved.
