Artists in Focus at the Mansion

Published11th May 2018

A new Artists in Focus display opens this weekend at Christchurch Mansion. The artworks will be shown in the Wolsey Art Gallery alongside the gallery’s Constable collection.

The Sudbourne Park Printmakers are an established group of East Anglian artists based in a rural Suffolk workshop who work using a range of print-making techniques.

They have been creating new prints in response to the collections in the Mansion and surrounding park. The display will feature their new works and explore different types of print-making, giving visitors a new way to look at Christchurch Mansion through the artists’ interpretation of the building and collections.

The display is part of a summer programme of inspiring art exhibitions, which also includes Contemporary Chinese Works on Paper: A Review, currently on display at Ipswich Art Gallery.

Sudbourne Park Printmakers at Christchurch Mansion is open from 12th May until 30th September 2018 and is free.
