Broomhill – your views

Published30th September 2014

The organisation behind the planned restoration of Ipswich’s Broomhill Pool is seeking public views ahead of a Lottery bid.

Fusion Lifestyle wants local people to back their restoration project and has launched a public consultation exercise both online and at a series of events.

The 1930s lido closed 12 years ago but Fusion wants to restore the pool, children’s pool and sun terraces and build a health and fitness centre, refreshment facilities and an exhibition area.

Ipswich Borough Council, which owns the pool, continues to pledge up to £1 million support if Fusion’s Heritage Lottery bid is successful.
