Bramford Road in Ipswich has reopened following the all-clear from experts monitoring the demolition work on the former Rose & Crown pub in Norwich Road.
The work to make the building safe has been ongoing for two months. Ipswich Borough Council has monitored the work by the owner’s contractors throughout and would not allow the road to reopen until it was safe to do so.
A Council spokesman said: “We are pleased that this has now reopened. Public safety is always our top priority.”
