Ipswich Central is the company responsible for running the town centre Business Improvement District (BID).
They are currently in their second phase of the BID which will run for a five year period until March 2017.
The BID allows an additional rate levy to be charged to businesses in a defined geographical area.

The Council has representation on the Ipswich Central Advisory Group and at the Central Forum where all town centre issues are discussed.
A Ballot is to be held on a proposal for a Business Improvement District (BID) for a further 5 year term.
The ballot will take place entirely by post with all votes having to be returned by 5pm on Thursday 3rd November 2016.
