Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) do not form part of the statutory development plan, but provide additional detail to policies set out in development plan documents and national policy. SPDs are material considerations in the decision-making process. The Council is seeking views on the content of the following six SPDs which it will be producing in the next twelve months.
The Council also undertook a public consultation on Proposed Changes to the Air Quality Management Areas within Ipswich. This ran from Wednesday 14th June 2017 for four weeks until Wednesday 12th July 2017.
A similar exercise was undertaken for the Low Emissions Strategy SPD, Reptile Strategy SPD, and Parking Guidance (Standards) for the IP-One Area SPD in 2015.
