This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded and successful Corporate Fraud team within Ipswich Borough Council.
This role will provide a wide range of intelligence and investigative support to the Corporate Fraud Service, including establishing, managing and maintaining efficient and effective intelligence systems.
Day to day
Based at Grafton House, you will be the single point of contact for the receipt and dissemination of intelligence. You will be responsible for the collation and validation of intelligence to support the achievement of the Corporate Fraud Services objectives, ensuring that intelligence is used ethically and in accordance with relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
This role fully supports the Corporate Fraud Investigators by undertaking background enquiries and analysis, and controlling the case management system in accordance with legislative requirements. The role demands a high degree of integrity as the post has access to sensitive information.
You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, being able to work in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications.
