Ipswich Borough Councillor Harvey Crane has resigned from the Council with immediate effect.
Councillor Crane (Labour) represented Alexandra Ward since May 2011.
The other Alexandra Ward Councillors are John Cook and Adam Leeder.
A by-election will be held on May 22nd 2014 – the same day as the scheduled Borough and European Parliament elections.
