A unique opportunity has come up to rent craft studio space in an Ipswich park.
The £3.5 million “Parks For People” refurbishment of Holywells Park has transformed the old Stable Block into a visitor centre and included are some craft work stations for either individuals or craft groups.
The Council has let the new café operation and this is being fitted out ahead of an opening at the beginning of next month.
Other features of the Holywells Park refurbishment include new toilets, the refurbished Orangery, an outdoor theatre space.
The project was largely funded by the National Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery, with contributions from the Borough Council and the Friends of Holywells Park.
