Entrepreneurs Graduate

The finale to the 2015 Ipswich 18 entrepreneur programme was a graduation ceremony at Eastern Enterprise Hub’s headquarters in Ipswich.

Students received their certificates and guests had the opportunity to see and purchase the students’ products and services in a bustling market place.

Digby Chacksfield, CEO at the EEHub said: “It was great to see our entrepreneurs really flourish during their time on the Ipswich 18 Programme. What a great talent pool there is in the post codes of Ip1-Ip4. The students are offering a diverse range of products and services, and through these sustainable business ideas they are able to positively contribute to boosting the town’s economy.”

The five-month course, which was free and delivered in partnership with Ipswich Borough Council, encouraged 15 people to become more entrepreneurial and to develop ideas and self-confidence.

Jennifer Woodhatch, Ipswich 18 Programme student and Director of the VA Hub said: “The Ipswich 18 Programme has been a fantastic experience from day one and I would recommend the EEHub courses to any budding entrepreneur.”
