Ipswich Symphony Orchestra’s famous Family Concert is taking place at the Corn Exchange at 2.30pm on Sunday 1st March.
With conductor Adam Gatehouse, our large orchestra will be presenting “Strictly Orchestral”, a whirlwind of fantastic dance rhythms to set toes tapping. From the New York rhythms of West Side Story, to Hungarian and Russian Dances and the Thunder and Lightning Polka.
Discover the thrilling sounds of a full orchestra, with trumpets, harp, saxophones, tuba, xylophone and many more. And there is the opportunity to look closer and try out the instruments onstage during the interval.
