Folk & Beer Festival

Published22nd March 2017

Ipswich is looking forward to its first Beer & Folk Festival, with fabulous beers, ciders, wines, food and, of course, music to tempt people to St Peter’s by the Waterfront.

It is all happening on 28th and 29th April and BBC Folk Award winner Sam Carter will be performing on a Saturday night folk bill alongside renowned Charlie Dore, and her long-time collaborator Julian Littman from Steeleye Span. Local favourites Silbury Hill kick off the night and BBC’s Stephen ‘Foz’ Foster is MC.

The Friday night line-up is loaded with the region’s folk talent, including Suffolk-based artists Honey & The Bear and Holly Johnston.

The Beer & Folk festival is being organised by Beer & Co. Prices vary – check it out at www.beerandco.co.uk and get your tickets now through the Regent Theatre box office – www.ipswichregent.com or 01473 433100.

Please note: A Challenge 25 policy and refundable beer card and glass deposit system will be in operation on the door throughout the festival.
