Freddy plays a classic at Regent

One of the world’s leading pianists will be joining the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for its concert at Ipswich’s Regent Theatre on Wednesday 1st April.

Freddy Kempf will play one of classical music’s best known piano concertos, Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1.

Opening the concert will be the overture to Glinka’s operatic masterpiece, "Ruslan and Lyudmilla".

Conducted by Barry Wordsworth, the Royal Philharmonic will close with Dvořák’s stunning Symphony No.9, “From the New World”.
