Free Composting Training for New Master Composter Volunteers!

Published16th February 2017

If you are a keen gardener, would like to learn a new skill or just want to do your bit to help the environment and others, then don’t miss out on this opportunity to join our wonderful band of green fingered volunteers!

Suffolk Master Composters are recruiting for new volunteers and are offering a FREE two-day training course in March. You will learn everything you need to know about composting and how to share this knowledge with others, as well as having lots of fun with other like-minded individuals!

All sessions take place at Stowmarket Community Centre, Hillside, Stowmarket.

Day 1: Saturday 18th March

Day 2: either Sunday 19th or Tuesday 21st March

In return for free training, access to resources, travel expenses and on-going support, volunteers are asked to commit to 30 hours composting promotion through a wide range of activities; attending events, visiting schools, writing articles or talking to community groups around the county.
