Gabrielle to perform at Ipswich Regent Theatre next year

Published3rd November 2022

Gabrielle has announced new dates for her 30 Years of Dreaming Tour next year, performing in Ipswich on 5 November 2023, with tickets on sale from 10am tomorrow.

The tour has been timed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of her era-defining smash hit Number 1 single ‘Dreams’ with Gabrielle performing many other hits including ‘Rise’, ‘Out of Reach’ and ‘Sunshine’.

Gabrielle made an immediate impact when her debut single ‘Dreams’ spent three weeks at number one in summer 1993. Her second number one single ‘Rise’ followed in 2000. Her catalogue of hits includes a further eight Top 10 hits, notably ‘Out of Reach’ (which featured in ‘Bridget Jones’s Diary’), ‘If You Ever’ (with East 17) and ‘Give Me A Little More Time’.

Her 1999 4 x Platinum album ‘Rise’ was one of the most successful of the era, matched by the compilation ‘Dreams Can Come True, Greatest Hits’. In total, six of her albums have reached the Top 10, including ‘Under My Skin’ in 2018.

Gabrielle has two BRIT Awards - Best British Female and Best British Breakthrough - as well as MOBO Awards for Best Single (‘Give Me A Little More Time’) and Best Album (‘Rise’) and won her first Ivor Novello Award in 2008 when she received the Outstanding Song Collection accolade.

Last year Gabrielle earned a new generation of fans during her show-stealing performances on the 2021 edition of ‘The Masked Singer’ and her resurgence has continued with recent album ‘Do It Again flying into the charts at number four. Earlier this year Gabrielle joined Adele as a special guest at two huge sold-out Hyde Park shows!

With a huge UK tour next year, Gabrielle’s well-deserved era of rediscovery continues: “To celebrate 30 years of ‘Dreams’ is just amazing. I can’t wait to party with everyone and celebrate the record that launched my career three decades ago! Time sure does fly when you are having fun,” she says.

Tickets for this Ipswich performance go on general sale from 10am on Friday 4 November 2022.
