A young British gamer with a fascination for Minecraft and millions of followers from across the world has sold out tickets for his two shows at Ipswich’s regent Theatre.
Dan TDM (The Diamond Minecart) is appearing at the Regent on 13th August and more than 3,000 tickets for his afternoon and evening shows were snapped up inside three days.
Mark Whiting, Commercial Development Manager at Ipswich Borough Council, said: “We are delighted but not surprised that tickets flew for this show as Dan TDM is a Youtube sensation and has millions of followers across the world. Gaming is not a frequent genre at the Regent but our job is to provide the biggest names across comedy, music and other kinds of entertainment for people across Suffolk and Essex.
“It is a big honour to be chosen as just one of four sites for Dan TDM and that probably reflects our status as the biggest theatre in East Anglia.”
