The Mayor, Councillor Jane Riley officially opened the Ipswich office of family-run home care organisation Helping Hands.
Helping Hands has been providing home care in the area for the past 12 months but has now opened company’s office in Ipswich, provides a visiting care service in and around Ipswich and the surrounding areas.
The opening was attended by several Helping Hands’ carers and customers, as well as Chief Operating Officer Karen Mackenzie.
Rhiannon Richards, the manager for Helping Hands Ipswich, said: “It’s a real pleasure and honour to be heading up the team here in Ipswich. Being able to bring the best care to the local community is something that I’m really passionate about and I’m excited to work with a dynamic team of carers to make this happen.”
Helping Hands has 93 branches nationwide and the opening of the Ipswich branch is part of the company-wide expansion plan.
