Ipswich Borough Council helps to transform Triangle Church outdoor area

A redundant outdoor space for young people at Triangle Church in Ipswich has been transformed into an all-year round area for the local youth club.

New flood lighting, fencing and football pitch white lines on artificial grass have been provided thanks to funding from the Triangle Priority Area Budget.

Around 50 young people attend a Youth Club at the venue each week but were unable to make use of the outdoor space before its transformation.

Councillor Bryony Rudkin, Ipswich Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Communities and Sport says:

“These improvements provide the church venue with more community outdoor space that can be used all year round thanks to the new lighting installed.

Many thanks to our Community Engagement team working with Reverend Lawrence Carey at the Triangle Church, Access Community Trust, and contractors for achieving this transformation.”
