Ipswich Borough Council let ensures a new fruit and veg shop in Chantry

Ipswich Borough Council are pleased to have let a unit in Chantry that opened on 10 November as a fruit and vegetable shop, Kay’s. This new retailer has enhanced the shopping parade and added to the availability of fresh fruit and vegetable in the area. This is Kay’s third shop.

Stephen Kay, from Kay’s says:

“We are pleased to be open in Hawthorn Drive and we have had a good reception. The council has been supportive in helping us acquire this shop and we look forward to many years trading.”

Councillor Colin Kreidewolf, Ipswich Borough Council, says:

“As a local resident I am really excited about this opening and the greater choice it will provide. Kay’s have shown themselves to be very popular at their other sites on Meredith Road and Nacton Road and I am sure local residents will welcome the opportunity to buy fresh fruit and veg.”
