Ipswich elections

Ipswich goes to the polls on Thursday 5th May and nominations for the Borough Council election have now closed.

A total of 69 candidates are contesting 17 seats on the Borough (one in each of the 16 wards and one by-election) and a Suffolk County Council by-election.

If you are not registered to vote you can do so until midnight on 18th April - go online to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or call 01473 432533. It’s your council, so make sure you can vote!

The election for a Suffolk Police & Crime Commissioner also takes place on 5th May.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.
