The annual civic service for the Mayor of Ipswich will take place next month on Sunday 13 October.
Ipswich Mayor, Councillor Elango Elavalakan will be joined by fellow Mayors from across Suffolk and Civic Leaders for the Civic Service which will also include a procession between Ipswich Town Hall and St Mary-le-Tower Church.
The service is an annual event to celebrate the town and those who perform civic duties for the benefit of our communities in Ipswich.
The procession will start at around 3.15pm, with the Civic Service, to be led by Reverend Tom Mumford, starting at 3.30pm. The service will include performances by the Choirs of The Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace and St Mary-le-Tower Ipswich.
