Museum event charity cash

A unique event at Ipswich Museum run by new Women’s Institute group, Cake & Revolution, has raised an incredible £4,000 for the Lighthouse Women’s Aid charity.

Cake & Revolution “took over” the Museum in High Street last month for a black tie event after winning a special competition.

The group professes to be "more prosecco and body confidence than jam and Jerusalem” and the sell-out event featured an entertaining line-up of female performers.
