Once more for Bobby

Stars from TV and football will gather at Ipswich’s Film Theatre next week for a special screening of a film about a gruelling 3,500 charity cycle ride - “Once More For Bobby”.

Newcastle Utd star Robbie Elliott and triathlete Phil Gray pedalled to every club managed by Town and England legend Sir Bobby Robson in a bid to raise money for cancer research.

The film also featured DCI Banks and Ballykissangel star Stephen Tompkinson as the voice of the late Sir Bobby and contributions from Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker, Peter Beardsley, Paul Gascoigne, Mick Mills and other football legends.

Once More for Bobby is having a selective theatrical release, kicking off with a VIP screening at the Ipswich Film Theatre at 7.30pm on Sunday 31st May, followed by a Q&A session with Stephen Tompkinson, Phil Gray and hosted by film maker Fantomline’s Neil McEvul.
