As part of the Council’s Corporate Strategy to make Ipswich ‘a financially sustainable council providing good quality services’, we have launched a review of our pre-application advice service.
The aim of this review is to maximise the high quality of development that we see come forward, whilst balancing this with our ability to ensure that the Planning Department is well resourced to enable speed of delivery and value for all our customers.
We have launched a questionnaire to provide Ipswich Borough Council with feedback on how the pre-application process is currently working, whether it is well advertised and provides the right level of flexibility and the desired outcome of delivering high quality development in the Borough.
