Priory Heath by-election for new Borough Councillor

A by-election for Priory Heath ward will be held on 15 December 2022.

Valid nominations to stand for the role need to be received by 4pm on Friday 18 November 2022.

For residents living in Priory Heath ward (i.e. part of south-east Ipswich), that are not already registered to vote, you can register online at: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote to vote in this by-election, but you must do so before midnight on 29 November 2022 to be eligible to vote next month.

If you wish to apply for a postal or proxy vote rather than visit a polling station to vote in person on the day, then you must apply before 30 November (for postal voting) and 7 December 2022 (for proxy voting). Applications can be made at: https://www.ipswich.gov.uk/content/absent-voting.

There are three Borough Councillor positions in each ward. The other two roles in Priory Heath remain held by Councillors Daniel Maguire and Luke Richardson.
