The most important question is: “How much money did the Mayor of Ipswich’s Charity Quiz raise this year?”
The answer is around £700, after 37 teams battled it out in the Corn Exchange.
The winners were a team who clearly didn’t live up their name, Struggling To Remember. Runners-up were the Ella Eyre Fan Club and third were Where’s Johnny?
The Mayor, Bill Quinton, who took part as a marker, said: “It was a great night and I am very grateful to all who took part and helped us raise money for my official charities, RSPCA – Suffolk East & Ipswich branch, Suffolk Family Carers and the Alzheimers Society.
