Regent sell-outs reach a great eight!

The Regent Theatre’s new season has only just begun but already eight shows have sold out.

Ricky Gervais’s two shows in September sold out within a couple of days, following these blockbusters:

Thunder on 26th March
Jack Whitehall at Large (two dates) last January
Russell Howard last February
Caro Emerald in April

Another Russell (Brand) has sold out in June but there are still tickets for his show in December.

In addition, you will have to hurry if you want to see the following shows in April – there are only a few tickets left for each performance!

Looking further ahead, tickets have been really flying for The Shires, Paul Rodgers Celebrates the Music of Free, Jimmy Carr, Anastacia, Kevin & Karen Dance – The Live Tour, Jon Richardson, the Australian Pink Floyd, Greg Davies.Don’t miss out!

James Fairclough, who is in charge of East Anglia’s biggest entertainments venue, said: “It all proves that we get the biggest shows here and sell some out in a very short time. We have some other huge shows coming up and recommend that you sign up for ticket alerts so you don’t miss out.”

More than four million people have been to the Regent since it reopened in 1991 - snapping up tickets for West End shows at Suffolk prices.

Update:

The Regent Theatre today announced that iconic Scottish band Texas is coming to Ipswich on Friday 15th September as part of a 21-show UK tour. Texas’s new album, “Jump on Board”, is released in April.
