Hurrah! The school holidays are here and Ipswich Borough Council is making sure there is plenty on offer to keep youngsters occupied during the long hot summer.
The Council has put on an extensive programme for children and their families – everything from sports classes and fun sessions at sports centres and swimming pools, community sport sessions, fun-filled workshops at the Museum and Christchurch Mansion, a range of fun days and activities in our parks - and even a beach area in Christchurch Park. There is also a series of Horrible History-themed guided walks to make learning fun.
Meanwhile, the family summer events programme continues with Ipswich Wheels in Chantry Park on 31st July and an Outdoor Cinema spectacular and the Ipswich Maritime Festival in August.
