Second Russell Brand show at Regent announced

Published10th February 2017

Good news for fans of comedy legend Russell Brand.

His Regent Theatre concert in June sold out in just a few days but today he has announced a return to Ipswich this December.

In his RE:BIRTH tour, Russell wrestles with the questions “What is real?”, “Who are we?” and “Where did this baby come from?” while unraveling the matrix of modern media, politics, sex, fatherhood and death.

Bryony Rudkin, Deputy Leader of Ipswich Borough Council, which runs the Regent, said: “Fans from all over the region will have been disappointed that Russell’s fabulous show sold out so quickly. But we are delighted that he’s returning in December to give 1,500 people another opportunity to see one of the biggest stars in comedy. But be quick – these new tickets will go quickly, too.”

The new RE:BIRTH tour show at the Ipswich Regent is on Monday 4th December. Tickets go on sale online and at the box office at 9.30am today (Friday).

The new Regent & Corn Exchange brochure is out now, with details of other stellar shows, including David Walliams’s Gangsta Granny, Grease and the Buddy Holly Story. Go to the website or pick up a copy at the theatre to find out more.
