Two top comedians to perform stand-up shows in Ipswich

Published26th April 2023

Funnymen Jack Whitehall and Tom Allen will visit Ipswich Regent Theatre to perform stand-up shows, with tickets on sale from Friday 28 April.

Jack Whitehall will perform his Settle Down tour in June 2023 and Tom Allen will deliver his Completely tour at Ipswich Regent Theatre in February 2024.

Award-winning comedian, actor, presenter and writer Jack Whitehall says he is looking forward to being back on the road to do what he does best – entertaining audiences!

Jack Whitehall says: “This is my most personal show yet, with plenty of material about the big changes that have happened in my life. It’s about my struggle to settle down gracefully. I’ve got a long-term partner, a ridiculous dog and am now hurtling towards middle aged without a clue. It’s about a foppish man-child’s cack handed attempt at adulting!”

With his signature acerbic wit and riotous storytelling, Tom Allen has become a household name thanks to TV appearances on The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Bake Off: An Extra Slice and There’s Something About Movies. He is eager to share his life updates with audiences (having moved out of his parents’ house), get opinions on his vegetable patch, and delve into the protocol of inviting friends with children for dinner.

Both of these shows are being promoted as suitable for age 14+. Tickets for Jack Whitehall: Settle Down go on sale at 10am on Friday 28 April and Tom Allen: Completely tickets will be available to buy on the Ipswich Theatres website from 11am on Friday 28 April 2023.
