Whether for a private function, corporate event, business meeting or networking over coffee and cake, the Town Hall and Corn Exchange can provide for all your needs in a historic setting.
The Town Hall and Corn Exchange have a variety of rooms available for hire including; the Grand Hall, Council Chamber, conference rooms and two cinemas. Rooms are available to hire seven days a week. Rooms can cater for the smallest of groups (from six people) up to our largest capacity of 1076, with flexible layouts.
Located overlooking Princes Street, the Pickwick offers space for a large meeting, small conferences and workshops.

Steeped in history, this room is ideal for wedding receptions, entertainment events and business conferences, all accessible via the Italianate Victorian staircase.
Our largest and most adaptable room, this is a very impressive space. With a capacity of up to 1076, this space has a lot to offer and is home to many live events throughout the year.

The Ipswich Town Hall forecourt (Cornhill) and/or Giles Circus can be hired for events and promotions. The Cornhill is currently undergoing redevelopment and is not available for hire.
