Volunteers from across Suffolk are needed to help say “Thank You” to our Armed Forces both past and present.
Suffolk Armed Forces Weekend is being hosted this year in Felixstowe on Saturday and Sunday, 24th and 25th June.
The weekend will recognise the huge contribution made by our servicemen and women from the past until the present day. There will be live music from military bands and choirs, an evening of rock and pop music, military displays and re-enactments, food stalls and children’s entertainment.
Volunteers are needed to help out in various roles and activities over the two days, including welcoming VIPs, visitors and families from the Armed Forces, plus you get to experience this spectacular event first-hand. No previous experience or training is required.

The Suffolk Armed Forces Weekend is a county event, which is hosted in different towns each year. It is a community event, supported by the Royal British legion and other organisations.
