People are advised to take care in Ipswich’s parks and open spaces today as the wind is forecast to increase during the late morning and early afternoon.
An Ipswich Borough Council spokesman said gusts were expected to reach up to 60mph in parts of the region and people should be aware when they are out and about.
Parks opened as normal this morning but the situation is being monitored. Most parks and open spaces do not have gates – hence the advice to take extra care.
