Your town, your future

Published19th October 2017

Over the past eight weeks, many people have been having their say on the future of Ipswich as part of our Local Plan consultation.

We’ve had some great ideas from you all so thank you for getting involved.

If you haven’t submitted your comments, don’t panic there is still time. The consultation goes on until 11.45pm on Monday 30th October and to make it more convenient a week-long exhibition is taking place at the Ipswich County Library in Northgate Street next week.

Simply head down to the library during opening hours and pop your ideas in the Local Plan post box!

The Local Plan will cover the growth of the town until 2036, how many homes are needed – and where they should be built – along with the future of the town centre.  These important issues affect everyone who lives and works here, so the Council wants as many public views as possible.
