Set up a Direct Debit

You are here

Paying your regular council bills such as Council Tax and Business Rates by Direct Debit will save you time and make life easier.

All you have to do is give one simple instruction to your Bank or Building Society. The Bank or Building Society will ensure that the appropriate amount is transferred automatically from your account to the council's when it is due.

You will be notified in advance of the payments and their due dates. You will be able to query a payment or stop it altogether should you feel it is wrong. You can also obtain a refund if an error is ever made on your account.
