Ipswich Borough Council tenants can now access their rent account online with the new Housing Online, My Account portal. This online tool is available anytime, anywhere, from any device.
What you can do with housing online
Once registered, you can:
- Manage Your Rent Account: View account balances and search transactions.
- View Tenancy Details: Check details of your tenancy.
- Update Contact Information: Keep your contact details up to date.
- Book Housing Repairs: Request repairs online.
How to register
To register for Housing Online, follow these steps:
1. Register for Housing Online

2. Enter your email and create a password
- Click "Next" after entering your email address and choosing a password.
- You will receive an email to verify your account.
3. Verify your account
- Click the "Verify Me" button in the email. If it doesn’t work, copy and paste the link into your browser.
4. Enter your details
- Provide your tenancy number or rent account number, name, date of birth, and National Insurance number. These details must match our records. If there are any issues, contact us at Tenancy.Services@ipswich.gov.uk.
5. Log In
- Once registered, use your email and password to log in.
- After logging in, you can access various features like viewing your accounts and tenancies. The available features may vary based on your account. Remember to log out when you’re finished to keep your account secure.
