Monthly Walkabouts and Talkabouts 

As part of our tenant engagement calendar, Ipswich Borough Council‘s monthly activities in local areas are designed to bring tenants, leaseholders, housing officers, staff and tenant representatives together to make a difference where it matters most.

Following on from our highly successful 2026 Walkabouts, we have tailored our upcoming Talkabout events to take place at various communal spaces around the town. 

Tenants are invited to attend these drop-in sessions that will focus on various themes involving Ipswich Borough Council's service areas.

We will be gathering feedback on issues raised including any events tenants wish to see in the future. For example locations, timings, and the focus of the Talkabouts.

All Talkabout events to take place between 10am-12pm unless specified.

Walkabouts

We are planning ahead for our next cycle of Walkabouts. With the approaching warmer and hopefully drier seasons ahead, Ipswich Borough Council welcomes tenants and leaseholders to join us on estate tours. Meet with Housing Officers and housing staff to identify areas of improvement in your area.

All Walkabouts start at 10am and last for up to 2 hours.
