Valentines’ announcement: Second Wedding Fayre of 2026 to be held at Christchurch Mansion

Christchurch Mansion

To celebrate Valentines Day, we are announcing that a second wedding fayre is coming to Ipswich in 2026.

Christchurch Mansion will be welcoming couples, their friends and families to its historic venue on Sunday 3 May to showcase local businesses, including Suffolk Registrars, Gainsborough Quartet, Wallflower Florists, S&R Wedding Stylist and The Food Station.

It will be the second wedding fayre of the year, with the first being held at Ipswich Town Hall on Sunday 12 April, details of which can be found online.

Councillor Carole Jones, Ipswich Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Planning and Museums, said: “This is the second time we’ve held a wedding fayre at our historic Tudor mansion, which couples can also look around on the day. It will be great to welcome lots of local businesses to our venue, which sits in the heart of the beautiful Christchurch Park, and inspire our couples to make their day as special as possible. I can’t imagine a more beautiful venue for a wedding!”

The wedding fayre at Christchurch Mansion will be held between 11am and 3pm and is free to attend. Booking is not required. More information can be found online.

To coincide with this, a bridal dress show will be held on the same evening between 6pm and 8pm. Tickets for this event cost £20 and include a welcome drink, canapes and a goody bag. Please see further details online.
