Parking for crucial health and social care workers

You are here

Crucial workers in the NHS and social care are doing vital and highly-valued work to support the most vulnerable in our society, save lives and keep our country running.

To help this work to continue, we are allowing these crucial key workers to park for free in all Borough Council pay & display car parks, on-street pay & display bays and on-street bays in Residents' Parking Zones where there are no local off-street or on-street parking provisions.

Upon verification, these crucial key workers will be given access to a special online MiPermit account which enables them to register their vehicle and park for free.

Please note, this concession is only available to crucial key workers employed by the NHS or in social care.
