About the Art Gallery

Collage of the Ipswich Art Gallery.

This much-loved building was purchased in 2012 after a major fundraising campaign. With the support of the Arts Council England the gallery opened in summer 2010 with its inaugural show 'The Saatchi Gallery at Ipswich Art School' which has been followed by further successful temporary exhibitions.

Corporate Hire

The Ipswich Art Gallery built in the 1930's in the Art Deco style has distinguishing architectural features including a large glass-roofed octagonal main-atrium space in the centre of the building. Throughout the year The Ipswich Art Gallery has changing exhibitions on display and can provide the ideal backdrop for your corporate event.
