Street Performance Showcase

Get ready for a repeat of the town’s 4th Street Performance Showcase, taking place on Saturday 4th April!

Ipswich Borough Council is calling on all street performers – from musicians and magicians to acrobats, dancers, living statues, poets, puppeteers and more – to apply now for a place in the town’s first ever Street Performance Showcase. Previously known as the Busking Showcase, we're extending what will be on offer.

Applications are open from 9 February until 5pm on 6 March, and the Council is encouraging performers of every kind to step forward and show Ipswich what they can do.

You will be paid for this in line with Musician Union Minimum Rates. For each hour's performance fees are: £80 for solo performers, £160 for duets, £320 for three or more performers, plus you can collect tips from the public.

You must provide your own battery powered amplification, no mains electricity will be available and you must abide by the guidance in the Ipswich Good Busking Guide - Read the Ipswich Good Busking Guide here.
