Advertising banners

There are two sites in Ipswich where banners can be displayed across the highway, at the two outer ends of Westgate Street and Carr Street in the town centre. This is relating to the Highways Act 1980 Sect 178.

The Carr Street site may only be used to advertise local community, cultural or leisure events. Prior consent of the Local Planning Authority must first be obtained.

The Westgate Street site may only be used to advertise events organised by charitable, amateur and other non-commercial bodies.

How to apply

You can apply to have a banner for a maximum of two weeks. You may only use one of the sites at a time.
