Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment

Ipswich Borough Council’s Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) was first published on March 2010 based upon a joint methodology with the former Suffolk Coastal District, now part of East Suffolk Council. The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment methodology was produced in accordance with the Department for Communities and Local Government (now the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities) Planning Practice Guidance published in July 2007.

In November 2013, the Council published a SHLAA Update to be read in conjunction with the 2010 report.
