Ipswich Borough Council identified a number of areas in and around the town centre that need improvement - the Council wants to enhance the town still further by rejuvenating some of the tired looking public spaces in the town.
The Council’s planning team mapped the central area of Ipswich, looking at key sites for major improvements and produced a shortlist of four public spaces in need of a new look.

The Council undertook a public consultation from 16 January for six weeks until 27 February 2019 for the public to vote on the shortlist of potential sites (below).
