The nearest Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) are:

  • Portmans Walk (off Sir Alf Ramsey Way), IP1 2DW; and
  • Foxhall, IP10 OHT.

They are run by Suffolk County Council and they accept household waste for recycling and disposal (subject to some restrictions).

Suffolk has 11 HWRCs in total. They open at the following times:

Soil, plasterboard, hardcore and rubble

On 1st April 2016 Suffolk County Council introduced a charge for the disposal of soil and DIY waste such as hardcore, rubble and plasterboard.
