Ipswich Borough Council has garages and secure parking spaces to rent in various areas across town.

Open to all Residents

• But, applicants must not have any current or former arrears in respect of any residential premises or garages at the time of application.

Charges

Rent is typically £10.84 per week for a garage and VAT at 20% is charged on top of the weekly rent for non Ipswich Borough Council tenants.

We only accept Direct Debit for new garage tenants to pay their rent. Payments can be made weekly, fortnightly, every four weeks or monthly but must be paid in advance. The account must remain in credit or at nil balance at all time.

If you are a blue badge holder you will receive £1 per week discount off the cost of renting a council garage and we will need to see evidence before applying the discount.
