From 1 April 2019, if you are under 25 and have previously been in Suffolk County Council care, we may be able to reduce your Council Tax.
Who will qualify?
To be awarded a reduction you must:
- previously been in the care of the Suffolk County Council since the age of 14, for at least 13 weeks and have been in care on your 16th birthday
- be resident in the Ipswich Borough Council area
- be under 25 years old
How the reduction is applied
We may be able to reduce your Council Tax bill depending on how many other adults live in the property (and if they qualify for any other reductions).
