Ipswich Town Hall will be opening its doors to couples, their friends and family on Sunday 12 April 2026, to showcase all things wedding.
The event will bring together a curated selection of trusted local wedding suppliers, from bridalwear and décor to photography, floristry, and entertainment. Whether you’re just starting your wedding planning journey or adding the finishing touches, you’ll find plenty of inspiration, ideas, and expert advice all under one roof.
Couples can also explore the Council Chamber, which is currently being refurbished, and the stunning Grand Hall, showcasing the elegance and grandeur of this exceptional wedding venue.
Councillor Jane Riley, Ipswich Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Culture and Customers, says: “The wedding fayre at Ipswich Town Hall is always a lovely event for people to attend and be inspired. It’s a chance to organise everything for your special day or add the finishing touches.
“We love showcasing local businesses in our historic venues and this is just one of two wedding fayres that we’re hosting this year. The second will be held on Sunday 3rd May at Christchurch Mansion with further details to be released soon.”
The event at Ipswich Town Hall will run between 11am and 3pm with tickets now on sale for £2.50 if purchased in advance, or £3 on the door, which includes a glass of bubbly or orange juice. Tickets can be purchased online: Wedding Fayre - Ipswich Entertains.
